Peter Claesson Project Manager He has over 15 years of experience in developing youth oriented programs. In 1997, he worked with UN consultancies in the InterAmerican Development Bank and the EU on motivational projects in Ecuador, Honduras, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. He has partnered on numerous sustainable development projects. Peter became the recipient of the prestigious UN Development Program Administrators Award for Innovation and Commitment in 2004 and 2006. He is the co-founder of Indigo Travel & Events and shares his passion for nature in his free time.

Doris Downes Head of Communication She has worked with UN affiliates, the African Conservation Foundation and the Environmental Governance Institute in Cameroon as an author and blogger on global environmental issues including mining, deforestation and poaching. She has lectured on the ‘History of Biodiversity’ at the 2013 Scientific Conference at the Jardin Botanico del Soroa in Cuba and as a guest artist at Finca Dracula in Cerra Punta, Panama where she continued her research of orchids and worked with local youth on art projects. With a lifelong interest in natural history she is working an illustrated volume of the Orchids of Cuba.

Shruti Chandrasekhar Director of Marketing As an active United Nations Volunteer, Shruti has supported several projects for The United Nations Refugee Agency, Save the Children, World Wildlife Fund, Our City Forest, and has worked for several non-profits in her community that are primarily focused on environment protection and reforestation. Upon completion of her MBA from University of Maryland - College Park, Shruti worked as a Marketing Manager for a telecom startup & as a Product Manager for Cypress Semiconductors. As an independent marketing consultant & content marketer, she now creates & implements digital marketing strategies for hi-tech startups and non-profit organizations in the Silicon Valley. With a strong tech background and a passion for environmental issues, Shruti is committed to helping non-profits achieve success and realize their mission of making a global impact.

Miguel Segur Sustainability Expert Sustainabilty Expert in the study of forest projects, biodiversity and climate change and has created a project called Model Forest http://www.bosquesmodelo.net , now implemented in various countries around the world. He is currently with the Foundacion Cesefor, a foundation that contributes to the conservation of natural resources. Miguel has worked as the Galapagos Program Officer for the protection of endangered species and on forest management projects in South America. He has also a co-authored many papers on the subject of forest governance in diverse areas of the globe.
